Guest guest
An email has been circulating that a woman, somewhere in USA, was rushed to the hospital after she drank coke from a can. When they examined the can after she died, they found rat's urine which caused her death due to Leptospirosis. Once again poor rat has been blamed. Dr. Leo Rebello has replied to the said email as under : Santosh : you should NOT forward such silly messages, because indirectly what you are saying is that there is NO harm in drinking Coke !!! All that you are saying is wash the coke can and only then drink. Rat's urine caused the woman's death or the following causes which you have glossed over :- 1.. Chemicals that are sprayed on the cans to keep cockroaches, rats and lizards away. 2.. Cocaine inside coke. 3.. Aspartame and other sweetening agents. 4.. Cadmium and Arsenic poisoning due to reaction of Cocaine and other deadly chemicals with the tin. 5.. Expiry date. Poor rat's urine causing Lepto is bunkum. That is pseudo science Allopathy's crap explanation. You should remember as an Ayurveda expert what Luois Pasteur said on his death bed, "Terrain is everything, germ is nothing". I was recently in Mexico and USA for about a month, on a lecture tour. Americans are sick because everything they eat is garbage. Our poor children digging in garbage bins for food are healthier than the diseased Americans. Let us do something to improve our conditions rather than forwarding such silly emails and indirectly promoting Coca Cola. Guest guest
Leo Cocaine has not been used in Coke since 1929. Check it out here. http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/cocaine.asp I am not a fan of coke and do not drink it. Maybe the combination of Coke and rat urine caused the death. However, give a choice, I would rather drink Coke than rat urine.
