Guest guest Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 Recommendation to waive off the entertainment tax on Hindi film Taare Zameen Par Dear friends and members, In my published article “Sardar Sarovar- The Lifeline of Gujarat”, I had shown my disapproval of the Aamir khan’s role as it was against the development of the region. Today, I appreciate Aamir Khan’s talent as a producer, director and actor for his film Taare Zameen Par. This is really a very worth seeing film .It gives very clear message making you empathize with the kid, compelling you to draw parallels with your life, making one realize that some of the renowned geniuses were once scoffed at, but the world had to bow down to their intellect later. Aamir Khan made this film on a dyslexic kid. Dyslexia is a slight disorder of the brain that causes difficulty in reading and spelling, but does not affect intelligence. Don’t think it is only a kiddie film. It's not! It's about children. I recommend all teachers, parents, students and kids “Watch TAARE ZAMEEN PAR with your child”. It will change your world. It will also change the way you look at your kids! On the whole, TAARE ZAMEEN PAR is a marvelous work of cinema. To miss it would be sacrilege. It has everything it takes to win awards and box-office rewards! Therefore, I suggest all the vivacious citizens of India to recommend waiving of entertainment tax on this film and declare this film as a tax free film.
