Renowned Backache Expert from Pune, S. M. Acharya,

during his one week visit to Ambala paid a coutesy

call on the Commissioner of Ambala Mahaveer Singh,IAS

when he came to know that the Commissioner's 15-year

old son was bed-ridden with low backache.

Acharya gave the young Singh a five minute simple

spinal stretching yogic exercise. While doing the

exercises his pain was not only reduced to the

minimum, almost to zero, but also he started enjoying

the relaxation.

The moment he finished the five-minute exercises, he

could cheerfully got up, started moving about normally

and even helped his father to record the VCD of the

exercises in his computer for future guidance. The

Commissioner was also very pleased and now he wants to

help all residents of the areas under his jurisdiction

not to suffer from the widely prevalent scourge of

back pain.

A word soon spread to the Ambala Cantonment officers

who too got in touch with the Naturopath Acharya to

learn his simple technique to self-cure backaches so

easily. They also invited Acharya to address the

morning Yoga classes conducted by Lt. Col. V S Jamwal.

Shri Acharya also met the Chief of Staff (COS) of

Ambala Cantonment, Maj.Gen. Maindarkar. The COS and

his better-half both enjoyed doing the exercises and

were surprized that such simple exercises could help

cure most backaches without under-going spinal surgery

that is highly invasive to say the least.

Shri Acharya also gave feeback from important VIPs who

got cured sans all drugs and sans surgery too. Such

beneficiaries include some senior doctors of the

Indraprastha Apollo Haspital, Delhi, officials of the

Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Commissioner, Pune Division,

Dr. Nitin Kareer, former DGP Maharashtra, Arvind

Inamdar, IPS (Retd), and many more persons from all

over India and abroad including USA, UK, Spain,

Astralia and Japan.

Thereafter. a similar lecture-cum-demo was organised

in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Ambala for

the benefit of various officers. The meeting was

presided over by Mrs. Renu Phulia, HCS, Additional

Deputy Commissioner Ambala. Mrs. Alka Ghai, Secretary

of the District Red Cross Society, Ambala also learnt

the exerises as she has had been suffering from back

pain for quite some time.

Shri Acharya informed all the audiences about his free

website giving all possible info about this new nature

cure technique. Anyone anywhere in the world could log

on to the website: www.atbsnr.com to easily cure

oneself and help other friends and relatives, thus

setting a chain reaction to progressively make the

entire humanity back pain free.

In this manner, Acharya, even at his age of 76 years,

is optimistic that India could thus help make the

world BACK-PAIN FREE. A VCD is also given to all the

above offices to make copies for distribution to all

patients for further guidance as the VCD gives the

exercises very clearly to enable a patient follow the

full technique step by step.

Acharya, having covered more than 30,000 patients

through free medical camps, has also launched a

similar campaign at Pune, Mumbai, Bhopal, Delhi and

various cities and towns in India and abroad to train

healthcare staff and NGOs to spread the word all

around the world.
