Guest guest
The only thing I seem to use colloidal silver for is conjunctivitis. A friend suggested it, and gave me some, and it worked so well on my kids- only took a couple of doses of a few drops in their eyes- I bought myself a colloidal silver maker. But I hardly use it exept when my kids get conjunctivits. Beats that gunky cream you get from the chemist. love Peela Get email at your own domain with Mail. http://personal.mail./

Guest guest
Dear Jane, Sai Ram. In homeopathy, symptoms are the key for selection and a few are used as preventive medicines. Belladonna, Euphrasia are the medicines to think of but after the conjuctivitis sets in, one needs to treat symptomatically. Better to consult a homeopath who can look at the eyes and follow up properly. I once had redness of eyes, itching and feeling of sand in the eyes. I took Belladonna, Merc.Sol and Euphrasia (If I remember correctly since that was many years back and I didn't preserve the notes). I could not differentiate further between the three and didn't want to risk. I readily accept that what I did is not pure homeopathy. It is called polypathy or mixopathy if you prefer. The results were very good and in less than half an hour, the eyes cleared up. My good luck. SwamyJane MacRoss <highfield1 wrote: Sai Ram! Guest guest
Sai Ram. Yes symptoms are the main indicator for homeopathic prescribing - but conjunctivitis does has fairly consistent symptoms so Bell., Merc. Sol., and Euphrasia are a pretty good combination which would suit many cases of this complaint nevertheless - thanks for the answer! There is much non-classical homeopathy used in the world which is also quite successful - but homeopathy refers to the method preparation of the remedies does it not - rather than the method of choosing that remedy? Guest guest
Dear Jane, Sai Ram. Homeopathy refers both to the method of preparation of the remedies (Homeopathic Pharmacopia) and the method of selection (similia similibus curanter - like cures like). So, non-classical homeopathy uses mixtures almost like an allopathic preparation. Only higher potencies are used. To that extent, medicine induced effects are somewhat less severe. The debate about what homeopathy means is going on for decades. Thanks for sharing. Swamy --- Jane MacRoss <highfield1 wrote: > Sai Ram. Guest guest
Sai Ram. So as you have used both potentized medicines and similars, below, I am not sure why you do not wish to call this homeopathy? I realise you did not wish to see which remedy worked best so used all of them at once - nevertheless they are all appropriate! Best, Jane > Sai Ram. Guest guest
Dear Jane, Sai Ram. As per Classical Homeopathy of Hahnemann and his followers, there is only one true similar at any given time, not so many. So, a classical homeopath will not give or take three potentised remedies at one time (or even in quick succession). That is poly- or mixopathy. Since I could not go to a classical homeopath and since I could not differentiate between the three remedies, I just took the three in the space of a few minutes and by my good luck, one of them worked! With best wishes, Swamy , " Jane MacRoss " <highfield1 wrote: > > Sai Ram.
