What would you have for those who may not be permitted to kill any creature?

Mice especially

Another thing that can work for cockroaches and ants is a combination

of sugar and boric acid. The cockroaches eat the sugar but it is

mixed with boric acid, which kills them when ingested. They also

transfer this to other roaches. Sprinkle this along walls and

corners. We don't have roaches here but when we do this for ants,

they are gone in a week.

Sai Ram.

If you really want to follow Ahimsa (no cruelty) even

in thought let alone action, you need to simply accept

them. They will not harm you unless it is willed by

the Lord (Iswara) who controls all including us and

the mice.

Read Swamy Sivananda's life story and how he did not

allow any harm to come to even mice in spite of the

fact that they were chewing up some important papers

in His Ashram.

With best wishes,

Swamy

in search of truth and with prayers to Govinda to help reach that goal in this

life itself, and with best wishes to you that your goals may be reached,

I would presume something like garlic would keep them away but then

again, you might not want to live in your own house. :>))

I would think some powdered aromatic herbs like peppermint or thyme

would help.

There are devices that send out a frequency that mice do not like and

it plugs into wall outlets in rooms. It is only good for the room it

is in. i don't know if they have them for insects though.

Try these sites:

Well - I did use one of these devices in my other home several years ago -

they are $100 here - and as in 2 days there were more mouse droppings on the

device than I have ever seen in my life (at that time lol) I returned it and

asked for my money back!! I might check this out again though .

Have tried them. Not effective for rats, lizards, mosquitoes and bees.

With a stock of several bottles of cow urine distillates, did not

notice a single cockroach, ant in last few years. Just sprinkle cow

urine in the room evry week once and bye to all those.

I suppose by the same token, jane could put wolf urine or another mouse

predator urine in the house and there would be no more mice. I would

not want to be the one who extracts the urine though. :>))
