The current influneza pandemic and its subsequint " trek " accross the world is in

part due to negative attitude we have toward our daily intake of foods, settling

in most cases for convenience foods.

Its well known that diet considerable improves chances of surviving impending

illness which at times can be avoided or the effects are minor if the body is

prepared....and how easy is it for us to elminate the over processed, sugar and

salt laden food by simply substituting this with green vegetable and fruit.

Green tea and its benefits are well known in China and is now spreading accross

the globe, significantly more people are staring their day with this.

One in five woman in the USA die in childbirth due in no small part to obsety

and its constant companion, hypertension and diabetes, compare that to

Malawi, where deaths are the similiar but its the poorest country in the Africa

compared to America, the richest country in the world.

Its time for us to take stock, this pandemic is a signal for us to take notice.

This influenza pandemic is dramatic and will effect many but we need to make

significant changes immediatly and change our attitude toward food..........it

will play no insignificant part in shaping the destiny of world

health................. what amazes me is why we haven't done it.
