Memo from Gary Krasner

Dear Parents & Activists,

Before I provide details of the rally this Tuesday, I want to address some

important tidbits first:

1. CFIC is still seeking a prime senate sponsor for our philosophical

exemption bill from the majority Democrat party. Senator Padavan is

currently the prime sponsor, but Republicans no longer control the senate. If

you

have any candidates in mind, do let me know.

2. As most of you know, CFIC provides free referrrals to pediatricians

who respect non-vaccinating parents in NYS. If you found such a

practitioner, please feel free to send me the doctor's contact info and I'll

add it to

our referral list. The list is never posted publicly on the web. Also,

by next month, a revised update of CFIC's alternative to the AAP's parental

" Refusal to Vaccinate " form will available.

3. In June (next month), I will begin to post important and helpful

documents for all parents. Among them will be mobilization plans for our low

intensity, high persistance lobbying projects for when the legislative

session ends next montgh, and legislators will be spending more time in their

home districts. Anticipating these projects was the reason I began recording

your residential addresses 10 yrs (and 4,000 names) ago.

In that regard, communication links are so important now, it is absolutely

critical that parents receive my emails. Unfortunately, with every bulk

emailing I do, half the emails get blocked. Even if you receive this email

now, you may not receive others next time. This cannot continue. Please

download or read this PDF file to learn what you must do to remedy this

situation-----ESPECIALLY if you use a , Hotmail, Juno or Netzero accounts:

http://www.cfic.us/members/emailpolicy.pdf

The short version advice is to avoid using the aforementioned ISPs, in

favor of AOL or Gmail (or hundreds of other free email service providers you

can choose), and then place me on your " whitelist " (described in the pdf

file).

4. In the past, I've neglected to recommend the best ongoing lecture

series on vaccination and raising healthy children. Pediatrician Lawrence

Palevsky maintains practices in Manhattan and in Northport, Long Island:

http://www.northportwellnesscenter.com/pediatrics-lawrence-b-palevsky-md

But he also holds lectures 2-3 times per month at various locations. Call

to confirm dates and reserve a place for yourself at 917 617 6149, or

check here: www.drpalevsky.com.

Get on his mailing list for future lectures:

http://visitor.constantcontact.com/email.jsp?m=1102537836062

If I'm not mistaken, there will be his lecture titled, " Rethinking

Illness: A New Approach to Keeping Children Healthy " held on June 4th in

Manhattan.

Subsequent lectures are:

And now, about the RALLY IN ALBANY:

Tuesday, JUNE 2nd, 2009, ALBANY, NY 10:30 AM

Legislative Office Bldg.

State Street, Albany, NY

For further information email Rita: ritapalma

These periodic rallies are vital in making this issue known to that part

of the public that has a more casual interest in health and safety issues.

It's the stepping stone for further investigation. Because most people

just don't look into controversies unless it's covered by mainstream news

organizations. And these rallies garner that attention.

Just showing up makes the difference. Our local one-on-one lobbying

projects set to begin in June will have the complementary effect on each of our

legislators. So if you can make it to Albany, it would help advance our

agenda for informed consent via a philosophical exemption law.

BANNERS TO PRINT

Here are three low-cost, ready-made banners you can bring to the rally:

a. Pick the one you like (below).

b. Email the pdf to your local Staples store. (google " staples " )

c. Explain on the phone that the pdf should be printed at 200% size onto

paper.

d. Request that each 24 " x48 " panel be laminated together to make one long

banner.

e. Give them at least one day's notice to get the job done. More, the

better and cheaper.

Each pdf file is just 8 KB. Download all of them if you wish. There

should be enough parents attending to help you carry and hold the banner you

make.

Poster 1 reads = Forced vaccination, Only in America

consists of 5 - 24 " x48 " panels. Total length when laminated together = 20

feet long

http://www.cfic.us/activists/posters/Rally-poster-1.pdf

Poster 1 reads = vax choice: moms know best!

consists of 4 - 24 " x48 " panels. Total length when laminated together = 16

feet long

http://www.cfic.us/activists/posters/Rally-poster-2.pdf

Poster 1 reads = informed consent is the right to withhold consent!

consists of 7 - 24 " x48 " panels. Total length when laminated together = 28

feet long

WHAT TO ADVOCATE IN ALBANY

When you meet with legislators, you can bring whatever arguments to bear

on the subject. Whatever you feel confident in using. Vaccine safety;

vaccine effectiveness; parental rights; religious freedoms; civil liberties;

alternative theories of disease. Etc.

However, it's important that we not confuse legislators or dilute our

SINGLE negotiating demand----which must be informed consent through enactment

of our philosophical exemption bill (see below for details). The last

thing we want is to let a legislator think he/she might placate some of us by

supporting other less " toxic " bills, and to claim that he/she therefore

deserves our support. we must make it clear that we will campaign against

anyone who doesn't support the philo bill. Period. No ambiguities.

Unification on the philosophical exemption preempts this potential for a

divide and conquor strategy. Full support for the philo waiver bill may

also yield a compromise offer by a larger majority to pass the religious

exemption bill----one which rescinds sincerity testing, and thus comes close to

the self-executing effect of a philosophical waiver.

- BILL A4886, S2337: Philosophical: Unrestricted right to say no to

vaccines.

- BILL A0883, S2338: Religious waiver: religious claim that cannot be

challenged.

- BILL A0880, S2339: Medical waiver: makes your MD's certification

veto-proof.

But some organizers may feel that this laundry list of demands should be

added:

Support for:

- BILL A7766: Full disclosure of ingredients and adverse effects by

vaccines (new bill).

And opposition to these bills:

- BILL A0778: Gardasil vaccine: A new school mandate for boys and girls

- BILL S03256: Flu shot: Required for Healthcare Workers

- BILL A7228: Hep-B shot for sexually active kids, with no parental

consent required.

But I don't believe it's wise to add these bills to our demands, for

reasons mentioned above. AND, they don't warrant it on their own merits.

For example, regarding this flu vaccine mandate, healthcare workers are

not generally part of our coalition. Their unions usually negotiate against

these mandates and never lend a hand to parents confronting school mandates.

The Hep-B shot is NOT a mandate. It's not required for school enrollment.

You can instruct your sexually active kids to refuse the shot if it's

offered to them. Tell them no allowance for a year if they accept the shot.

Problem solved.

The Gardasil vaccine is a school mandate, if enacted. However, parents

may obtain my help in getting the religious waiver. I've helped over 2000

parents get it. Most members have an exemption. And the bill might be found

unconstitutional via lawsuit anyway, as it violates the free exercise of

religion for parents granted legal religious waivers. Also, the more

mandates there are, the more the public is drawn to our cause for sanity in the

form of freedom to opt out of the madness. Why expend time and resources

trying to kill draconian measures that induces parents to join our ranks? It

takes only a few minutes for pharma to draft such a bill, and we spend the

rest of the year trying to kill it. Where's the logic in fighting a war

of attrition of that degree?

Finally, Bill A7766, the " vaccine full disclosure " bill, is just another

in a long line of failed vaccine safety demands. Does anyone think the

Commissioner of Health will cite countraindications that we wouild agree with?

And when has a list of horrible ingredients dissuaded supermarket

consumers from buying such foods? The public believes that the government

wouldn't

permit chemicals in foods that aren't safety tested. Same with vaccines.

And their MDs will tell them it's safe chemicals at safe doses anyway.

And parents will accept it. Just look how many parents accept the MD's claim

that the baby's constant screeming and red face following the vaccines is

all normal. Most accept it.

Besides, parents who genuinely wish to be educated about vaccination

connect to the internet and learn why injecting chemicals and proteins directly

into the blood, bypassing the mucosal defenses, is rank recklessness. That

vaccines activate the humoral immune system, which has less to do with

infectious diseases than cellular immunity. That vaccines have actually not

eradicated outbreaks of polio and small pox etc. That disease is born from

within. That septicemia occurs by taking antipyretics during a catahrr.

That swine flu virus is being found because it is being looked for, and that

the normal background infection rates are no higher that anytime before.

I can go on. But you get the point: There are countless and superior ways

in which parents " educate " themselves. " Educating " parents about

vaccination has as much to do with the chemicals in them as teaching someone

how to

drive has to do with showing what chemicals are expelled from the exhaust

pipe! And look who the bill places in charge of educating parents in the

'full disclosure bill'------the DoH!

There are also incongruities in adopting these diversionary measures.

Legislators might legitimately wonder why parents seeking unrestricted

religous freedom to refuse ALL vaccines would also be demanding safer vaccines,

which is the ultimate goal of the full disclosure bill. Why would anyone

religously or philosophically opposed to vaccination care what ingredients are

in vaccines?! Legislators today think that parents who claim religious

objections are disingenuous, hence the justification for sincerity testing.

Adopting inconsistent demands only reinforces this perception.

Thanks for your consideration of these issues,

Gary Krasner

CFIC's POLITICAL AGENDA:

CFIC has always had one sole agenda: " informed consent " , in the form of a

philosophical exemption provision from school vaccine mandates. Each year,

more and more parents are joining autism support groups, and most of these

groups have joined the loose assemblage of vaccination awareness groups

around the nation. In addition to informed consent, more of this influx of

parents concerned about vaccination also espouse an additional goal: To have

safer vaccines, or to as the slogan goes, to have " greener " vaccines.

But there's no commonly held agreement on what will make vaccines

sufficiently safer. Proponents of " safer vaccines " haven't even proffered a

meaningful safe threshold that would satisfy their " safety " demands. All we

know

is that they want fewer vaccines mandated for school; fewer doses in the

vaccination recommended schedule, and few if any given to very young infants.

They want dangerous chemicals removed from vaccines. They want quality

safety studies performed on vaccines, presumably ones which measure the

synergistic effects of vaccines administered at the same time. They want

health authorities to recognize more types of illnesses and reactions as

vaccine-induced, and that includes long-term reactions that exceed the

arbitrary

36-hour window restriction. That is what comprises the vaccine " safety

regime. "

HOW TO SELL THE PHILOSOPHICAL WAIVER TO YOUR LEGISLATOR:

Some politicians are more altruistic than others. But they all must

operate with a degree of self-interest to remain incumbants. Thus, they must

perform a personal risk assessment on the consequences from supporting or

opposing an issue. Thus, in addition to advocating against the efficacy of

vaccination, please say the following to your state legislator:

1. You are currently being placed on the hot seat. Every year drug

companies and doctors pressure you to mandate more vaccines. They assure you

that epidemics will occur without them, despite the absence of epidemics in

Europe, Australia, and Canada where there are no government mandates. You

cave into these dire predictions because you don't possess the medical

expertise to rebut their slanted views. Then parents---who are forced to

subject their children to the greater risks from more vaccine doses---accuse

you

of selling out to the vested interests (drug companies) and those with

conflicts of interest (doctors getting paid by drug companies).

2. You are about to reap a tsunami of political backlash from voters.

It may not arrive until the CDC revises the autism stats to an incidence

level of 1 in 100 kids. Or 1 in 50. But it will come sooner than you think.

And when it does, it will take with it all legislators who rubber stamped

vaccine mandates year after year.

3. Most parents in NYS prefer a philosophical waiver. It appeals to

parents who don't wish to subject themselves to intrussive and degrading

religious tribunals by school administrators. It appeals to parents who reject

the one-size-fits-all, broad-based, recommended vaccination schedule, in

favor of the clinical judgment of their pediatricians, whose function is to

represent the health interests of the individual child. By contrast, the

rationale for vaccination schedules and state mandates are supposedly to

maintain the health of the public at large. In other words, the philosophical

waiver removes the unpopular, controversial issues of, " who is religious

enough to qualify for exemption " , and " what contraindications are sufficient

to designate a child as susceptible to vaccine injury. " The philosophical

waiver is the only exemption provision that sidesteps the fiscal costs of a

regime to screen exemption applications, because it's the only type of

waiver that's self-executing upon submission.

THEREFORE, Mr. legislator, in order to get out from under the current

squeeze between drug companies and parents forced to vaccinate, you must

relieve the pressure. There are only two ways to do that. Either rescind PHL

2164/5 to end vaccine mandates, or else provide parents in NYS what parents

in 18 other states have----a self-executing, unrestricted right to withhold

consent----a philosophical waiver. Co-sponsoring this bill will also

immunize you from the coming tsunami of voter dissatisfaction over the epidemic

of neurological, immunological, and chronic illnesses that are being linked

to vaccination. You'll be able to claim that you had provided parents

with the right to refuse vaccination. Champions of freedom of choice will

escape the wrath of the voters and remain in office.

Two Questions That Must Always Be Asked of Your Legislator:

1. If 'informed consent' does not mean the right to withhold consent,

then what does it mean?

2. Should parents have the right to decide which vaccines are given to

their own children?

Whenever you're able to attend a protest rally in Albany, it's always a

good idea to make an appointment with legislators to meet with them while

you're there. Even if you can only meet with their staff. And do not arrive

at the Capitol with placards and signs mounted on sticks. Do not use

sticks for your signs, because you won't get past security with them.
