Guest guest
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the filtering agent alumina (aluminum oxide). It appears that it is one of the few methods used for removing fluoride and other ions from water. We just purchased a Berkey water filter after much research. It came with some filters including two PF2 filters that contain the alumina. I am worried as something tells me to be so with this filter media. It is crystal clear but tastes like metal out of the filter. Am very concerned to drink it and haven't been until I sort this out. Hoping for some guidance from one (or more) that may know better than I. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond. I hope to hear from you soon.
