Dear Members of Coalition For Informed Choice and interested parties,

 

 

Our fellow member Lisa Rudley is organizing a protest rally in Albany:

 

Title of Rally: " Autism Epidemic Day "

 

Date & Time: Tuesday, March 24 at 11AM

She is organizing buses and carpools. You can bring your children.

 

Agenda of Rally: Two issues:

1. Support of CFIC's exemption bills (see below in resource section)

2. Stop Special Education Budget Cuts

 

What to Bring With You? Any banners and signs that:

1. Advocates for genuine informed consent, or vaccination freedom of choice.

2. Addresses autism services and Special Ed budget cuts.

 

However, DO NOT create signs which demand " safer vaccines " or opposes

particular vaccine mandates.

They are open-ended, ill-defined negotiating demands that conflict with

" informed consent " or unrestricted exemptions.

We need to convey an unambiguous unity of purpose message.

 

 

 

Background Information:

 

First, we need to get the Philosophical, Religious and Medical Exemption

bills passed.

 

Senator Jeffrey Klein from the 34th District (Bronx), for example, just

introduced a bill to the Senate that requires insurers of cervical cancer

detection to make the Gardasil vaccination mandatory for girls 9 through 26

years

old (boys are next). There have been so many problems and illnesses with this

vaccination that it should have been recalled not made mandatory! If the

Gardasil becomes a mandatory vaccination, Assemblywomen Amy Paulin from

Scarsdale

wants this vaccination to be given WITHOUT a parent's consent and may

introduce that legislation once it is a mandatory shot.

 

What that means is NY State can legally vaccinate our children anywhere and

anytime without our consent starting at 9 years old for the Gardasil vaccine.

In addition, parents may be in jeopardy of losing their insurance coverage

for their daughters if they don't vaccinate them with the Gardasil

vaccination. (Lisa will be researching if insurance companies accept vaccine

exemptions.)

 

Second, we need to protect our children from the ravages of autism, now

prevalent among 1 in 150 children.

Autism is not going away and we need to protect our children and young

adults and the children to come. We need to write, email, fax and most of all

VISIT our NY State legislators!!
