Funeral arrangements for Dr.Serafina Corsello-March 6-7,2009

Dear Family and Friends,

 

As promised, here are the final arrangements for my mother’s funeral.

 

The Funeral Mass will be held at The Church of St. Paul the Apostle at 10:00

am on Saturday, March 7th. The Church is located at Columbus Avenue and <

u1:address>60th Street in New York City.

 

The evening of Friday, March 6, from 5:00-8:00 pm we will have a gathering at

the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel at 1076 Madison Avenue at 81st

Street. Robert, Sofia and I will look forward to seeing many of you there and

to

reminiscing about her remarkable life.

For those of you writing to me in Italian, I understand your emails

perfectly. Forgive me if I continue to respond in English for the sake of time

clarity.

 

I would like you all to know that I have received over one hundred emails

and many phone calls from my mother’s family, friends, colleagues and

patients

both here and abroad. I have decided to gather these words, poems, and

memories for inclusion in an album which I am creating for her beloved

granddaughter, Sofia. There are simply too many beautiful sentiments to read

aloud at one

time. In this way, I will be able to record the remarkable depth and breadth

of her love for those around her as it has been reflected back to us a

thousand-fold in these past few days.
