Dad had heart surgery about five years ago, and it really was hard on his body, mind, and spirit. He's now having extreme joint pain, as well as difficulties with cognition. Homeopathy was of little help, and the practitioners I've spoken to said that it's a real " catch 22 " to work with him because some of the medications he takes are ones he needs, but they're also part of the problem. Herbs and vitamin supplements have proven problematic because they can change his blood consistency, leaving him prone to bleeding. However, some form of supplementation may be needed to reverse this trend. I'm putting this out here with the hope that the members will be open to brainstorming about this rather difficult case.
