Dear Tom,Sai Ram. Pronounced as Saayee Raam, it is a greeting, a mantra and a blessing too. Could you describe his problems in more detail? In the meantime, sending him FREE Reiki to help him. Ask him to relax by deep breathing and accept the Reiki. (He can simply say I accept Reiki from Swamy). Give me feed back and I will suggest a future course of action.Swamy--- On Fri, 6/5/09, Tom <reflexology wrote:Tom <reflexology Seeking help for my elderly fatherholistic-health Date: Friday, June 5, 2009, 4:19 AM

My dad is going through major health issues, and it's been tough to find anything that works.

Dad had heart surgery about five years ago, and it really was hard on his body, mind, and spirit. He's now having extreme joint pain, as well as difficulties with cognition. Homeopathy was of little help, and the practitioners I've spoken to said that it's a real "catch 22" to work with him because some of the medications he takes are ones he needs, but they're also part of the problem.

Herbs and vitamin supplements have proven problematic because they can change his blood consistency, leaving him prone to bleeding. However, some form of supplementation may be needed to reverse this trend.

I'm putting this out here with the hope that the members will be open to

brainstorming about this rather difficult case.

Hi Tom, can you expand a little bit on the surgery your dad had, the meds he is

on, his diet, etc. You just did not give much info to work with.

Tom, perhaps the best approach is to reduce the amount of pharmalogical toxins

(ie, " medicines " ) as your father increases the amounts of healthy nutrients

(real food). For example, if he is taking a drug to lower blood pressure, have

him instead gradually swtich over to hawthorn berries and flowers, along with

dandelion. Other heart-healthy nutrients are potassium, magnesium taurate,

CoQ10, L-Arginine, L-Taurine, hot cayenne pepper, and zinc.

As we all age, fungus takes its toll (the fungus amongus). It is helpful to take

antifungals such as:

burdock root

chaparral

chlorella

lemongrass

psu d'arco

cold liver packed in it's own oil

tumeric

fenugreek

I suspect that fungus is behind many of our ailments, including

arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, cancer, and diabetes, just to name a few.

There are many other antifungals. You can get a lot more information by

researching www.pfaf.org.

Tom,

I'm sorry to hear about your father's problems.

You mentioned extreme joint pain and cognition....

I've found relief in both categories by taking two products.

For joint pain: Healthy Aging.

For cognition: Natural Cellular Defense.

Natural Cellular Defense contains an all natural mineral; has no drug

interaction; has GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) status from the US Food and

Drug Administration; is non-toxic and safe for longterm use. It's primary

function is to remove heavy metals and toxins from the body -- which elevates

the performance of the immune system, balances the pH and improves the ability

of the digestive system to absorb nutrients. There are many " down stream "

benefits to taking Natural Cellular Defense, included improved cognition. My

memory is better and my fuzzy thinking has improved substantially.

Healthy Aging Formula is a supplement designed to reduce the signs of aging by

naturally replenishing key compounds that decline with aging. Key benefits

include protecting joints from wear and discomfort; promotes a healthy immune

system; supports a healthy heart and cardiovascular system; helps maintain lean

muscle mass.

(Healthy Aging Formula is also effective for pets. People open the capsule,

place it in pet food, and their pets show great relief from joint pain and have

increased mobility. Interesting side note.)

Both products are excellent. I take both of them daily. If I should forget to

take the Healthy Aging Formula -- my joints let me know it!

Let me know if you'd like more information on the product or on the results

others have had using these terrific products.

These products will, without a doubt, produce improvement in your father's life.

Hope this helps.

All the Best,

Melissa
