Chuck,

If he would, I would have him call and talk to Doc... that is if he really wants to live... as in would he be willing to follow the advice given? I'm sure Doc could help him.

Chuck, CF is a genetic disorder. The gene which controls mucus production is missing. So his whole body over produces mucus and it fills the lungs and interferes with the digestive process. Eventually the organs become so badly damaged that they begin to fail. Call Doc on this one, I know he can help you. My cousin died of this when she was 13 yeard old.

I think CF is a dry cold, any other input?

I believe that cystic fibrosis is more damp/ phlegm related then dry. In western

terms most signs and symptoms have mucus involved. In CF patients the mucus is

very thick and accumulates in the intestines and lungs. The result is

malnutrition, poor growth, frequent respiratory infections, breathing

difficulties, and eventually permanent lung damage.

Since it is an inherited disease infants or young children should be tested for

CF if they have persistent diarrhea, bulky foul-smelling and greasy stools,

frequent wheezing or pneumonia, a chronic cough with thick mucus, salty-tasting

skin, or poor growth. Any information the group has pertaining to clinical

experience or just they're thoughts would be very much appreciated.....

I believe there is a two pronged attack with cystic firosis. There is a dampness

and at the same time there is a coldness. This duality in the disease is what

makes it difficult to treat. Yin and Yang are imbalanced and there is a need to

treat both the coldness and the moistness. Somewhere the meridians are joined

together and are being disruptive. I think that a treatment program that

includes treatment of the envelope of the heart and the conception vessel on the

front of the torso would lead to a better ability to diagnose and treat the

malady. Liver bleeding and tonification would be a start as well. I am not that

familiar witht the disease, but dryness is definitley present. alot of tricky

diseases will have the yin yang imbalance that manifests iyself in different

stages. If could be that the moistness is there to treat the cold/dry and only

the moistness is detectable. treating or reccomending treatment on the 'net is a

bit like the blind men and the elephant. Each one sees a different thing. But

all are somewhat correct.

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited condition where important membrane

linings do not function properly. Thickened, rubbery mucus results

in blockage and infection throughout the respiratory tract. The

pancreatic and bile ducts are blocked, leading to severe digestive

problems. Sweat and other secretions contain increased salt. So,

there is a lot of stagnation and phlegm throughout the system.

Because of poor absorbtion in the digestive tract, spleen qi can be

suppressed; so it might appear to be colder for that reason. Or

hotter if the mucus suppresses immune function and becomes a

breeding ground for bacteria.

Treating the cause---a genetic muation that makes a membrane protein

misfold---is impossible. But you can work on the accompaning

symptoms and signs but phelgm is the root.

<<< I think that a treatment program that includes treatment of the

envelope of the heart and the conception vessel on the front of the

torso would lead to a better ability to diagnose and treat the

They should be useful since the mucus can block the bile and

pancreatic ducts, causing severe problems in these areas.

<<< Liver bleeding and tonification would be a start as well. I am

not that familiar witht the disease, but dryness is definitley

present. >>>

What purpose does this serve? And where do you see dryness present?

Hi Lobelia is the herb for the lung and from what I have read to get all that old junk out of your lung do a Lobelia purge, keep on taking it till you throw up and that is suppose to help pull all the old junk off the lining of the lungs. Plus DRINK WATER!!!! They say the lungs are severally dehydrated. If this is you with this problem do the incurables program on this site you cant go wrong you will heal. I had a dear friend that had that disease and she went for the lung transplant. Just knowing her she never drank water and she was EXTREMELY constipated, the body can not function when you have those factors working against you. Just try this you will never turn back it is the most enlightening exciting experience when healing is at your fingertips, you will not believe the power you have to heal. Ginanvickery1 <nvickery1

Talk to her body directly...You can do that with

Quantum Biofeedback. Have you tried having a health

scan with a QuantumBiofeedback Practitioner? It's

worth the time. It can tell you what is going on

energetically with her and offer those suggestions

necessary. Also help to keep her balanced and in

better health. Build her immune system in the process.

Parasites and fungus come to mind when you talk about

reoccuring infections and cough. She doesn't have to

have candida to have a fungus.

God Bless You Melissa. My prayers will be with both you and your

terrible.

*Cystic Fibrosis from what I understand is a Disease of Excess Mucous

in the Lungs. I feel a lot of empathy for children w/this disease.

There is a book called " The Arnold Erehot Mucousless Diet Healing

System; which is a Diet for people who want to decrease Mucous.

What I could do is contact you privately with information and ideas.

Anne in Conn. " Believing in a logical Nutritional approach to Healing.

Does anyone have any suggestions for help with symptom suppression or

alternative therapies for a child with CF? Any help would be greatly

appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Denise
