Guest guest
Hi all, does anyone have any suggestions for painfully bruised ribs? This has happened to me now for the third time within the last year and I hate to have this pain for the next 8 weeks or so. I took homeopathic Arnica. Any other ideas? thanks so much christa
Guest guest
Hello christa In my humble opinion, any trauma must take its time for the complete healing process, and for bones and carilages it takes more time, but my sujestions if i may sujest is: 1- Hot bath and i mean warm to hot bath with any thing in it will accelerate the healing time 2- swiming as it used all these thoracic cage bones. 3- Mechanical stree on the ribs due to any excercise can accelerate the rate of healing, as it sends ( trophic impulses) growing orders for the bones to heal faster. 4- Asprin helps a lot ( regular Asprin) as it improves circulation by keeping blood thin.(anti platelets and anticoagulant) 5- a controled stress on the ribs if they have sustained a sever trauma , means using a strap on the traumatised area and doing excercise. 6- Breathing excercise , you take deep inspiration and get it out to the last breath, this helps also. I hope this can help you, Sincerely Valdimir Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
Guest guest
Hi Valdimir, thanks so much for the suggestions. Pretty cool, I already do almost all of them. I was worried about the exercising. I thought I might make it worse but I can't just not do my daily workouts:-) And you're saying it actually will work. It does make sense. thanks christa > > 1- Hot bath and i mean warm to hot bath with any thing in it will accelerate the healing time > 2- swiming as it used all these thoracic cage bones. > 3- Mechanical stree on the ribs due to any excercise can accelerate the rate of healing, as it sends ( trophic impulses) growing orders for the bones to heal faster. > 4- Asprin helps a lot ( regular Asprin) as it improves circulation by keeping blood thin.(anti platelets and anticoagulant) > 5- a controled stress on the ribs if they have sustained a sever trauma , means using a strap on the traumatised area and doing excercise. > 6- Breathing excercise , you take deep inspiration and get it out to the last breath, this helps also.
