Seeking metaphysical reasons for illness

Hello,

 

Several years ago i came across a book that listed all kinds of

physical illnesses, ailments and diseases that

listed " alternative/spiritual/emotional " reasons behind them. i have

been searhing for such a list online (or a book) with no results. Is

there a name for the study of 'The hidden meaning behind illness " ? and

does anyone have any links to share about this subject?
