Guest guest
Do you have any natural remedy for hypertension? For the last three years I am taking Proponol 40mg two times a day and now BPis under control. I would like to know if you have any ayurvedic drug that 1.Control BP 2.Compensate whatever side-effects so far done by the allopathy medicine I am taking 3.keep vigour and vitality, essential for my profession, thatis marketing. For instance, if you take " Sarpagandhi " though effective, it will make your spirits down. Please advise
Guest guest
Dear Ramesh, Sai Ram. Welcome to the group. Hypertension is usually caused by - too much cholesterol in the blood which causes the narrowing of the blood vessels and by too much stress, which causes the muscles to compress the blood vessels. I would recommend a few life style changes before thinking of any medication, ayurvedic or homeopathic or any thing else. If you are taking tea, coffee, alcohol etc., pl. stop the same. If you are stressed, anxious etc., pl. take up meditation, yoga, exercise etc., to reduce your stress. If you are sleeping poorly, pl. take some natural relaxant like warm milk at bedtime to get better sleep. Exercise and relaxation should help you bring the BP under control. Use a lot of vegetables and fruits in your food to improve your intake of soluble and insoluble fibre. Cut down on sugar. If you are unable to use the above strict regimen, you may need medication, herbal, ayurvedic etc. Pl. write where you are staying to give you more advice about whom to see.
