Guest guest
Boy if this isn't the truth, I've thought about this all morning as I was wondering if my two sons had enough presents and they were stacked pretty high. I thought about this as I was making breakfast and I also reminded my children of how fortunate we are at this time. Many Blessings, Jennifer In a message dated 12/23/2005 6:51:03 A.M. Guest guest
this is a time no matter what your faith is or how you wish to celebrate, not celebrate or even how you think others should do or how they should think or feel to be our best for others. whether you are christian, pagen, believe in anything or not should not matter. we all have a heart and should use it not only during this time of year but all year around. all this fighting over wordings that have heated up so many people is so petty. and it is this kind of pettiness that causes more harm than anything else can. yes i do say merry christmas and happy holidays all together to everyone i meet. i may not agree with someones beliefs but that does not mean i have the right to try and change the whole country because i dont like a word or a saying. the only way to help change things for the whole people is slowly. with kindness, understanding, and not by saying " no you are wrong we WANT IT THIS WAY. people who are trying to make changes for the good of all knows that if you go into it like a bull will only cause more trouble, hatred, and even violence for some. to make changes you have to do it slowly with love and concern for the others as well. also changes does not mean all things have to go your way, way cant some things also stay the same. why does everyone think it has to be their way or no way. it is that kind of thinking that has caused wars killing millions of people. if not wars it has caused pain for people on all sides who did not deserve the pain. i do what i can to help my community in anyway i can. i go into churchs that are not of my faith and i have worked with people who dont agree with my own. why do i do this? because that is what we are supposed to do all year long. i know some of the people in the path of the hurricanes were not all of my faith but i did not care. my concern was for their life and well being not their faith or lack of. i did not go down into those areas but i did what i could here. my husband did go down with several trucks into Mississippi on more than one occasion to help people. as a person we all have to answer to our God, Gods or Goddess. i also have believed since i was a child that what i do will come around and it will either help or hurt me. i have seen this happen to myself and others who have hurt me. having anger towards someone for what they did or how they think only hurts us physically not only mentally. so we need to let the anger go and work side by side for all the people. i let time take its course because it does come back on good or evil on you or the other. i. myself choose to do what i can to help people no matter who or what they are or believe and be the best i can. to do what my God has taught me to do. i help anyone who needs it no matter what the faith, color or place or origin. just my thoughts for the new year i wanted to share. may you all have the best year coming and all your love ones kept safe. angel ANGEL Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Guest guest
Angel that was beautiful, if more people would focus on the similarities we all have and accept the differences, the world would be an incredible place to live. Guest guest
Angel Thank you again for such eloquent thoughts. If we practiced what we say we believe, what a difference we could make in the world. BB Mary Angel I also agree!!!! Iam sorry I did not respond sooner as work has had me tied up.. To accept differences in others is to accept and respect the differences in our self and our Own growing spiritual nature. The glory of it though...is thank God we are not All the same...but the shame in it ,,,is some others are truly not living the spiritual path I believe they set out for before the had (made) the choice to come into this word. To each their own and for some truly special people we will have to continue to teach and accept others for who they are and what they are becoming whether we like it or Not!! Guest guest
Hello all, I hope that all had a great holiday and are starting the new year with a bang! Just stopped in to let everyone know that I have more milk kefir, waterkefir, and ginger beer starter to share. I am almost wiped out with the scoby because of the cool temperatures. They aren't growing as fast. If anyone is in need of any of these cultures be sure to drop me an email. Yaphey PhotosRing in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Add photos, events, holidays, whatever.
