Guest guest
Hi, I am new to the group. I am hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. At 18 I was diagnosed with a blood disease (chronic ideopathic thrombocytopenia ) I was on steroids for about 5 years. I had a splenectomy at 23 and the same year also had a d & c and tubal ligation. At 27 after two years of being constantly sick and in and out of the hospital I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I have had a thyroidectomy as well as 2 further recurrances and surgeries to remove more tumors. Long story short I still feel terrible. I take Synthroid, Zyrtec and Rhinocort daily. I have terribly insomnia and am usually in a fog. I have zero energy. I just want to feel decent. I am in Central Ohio and do have excellent insurance but I know most alternative therapies arent normally covered. I am unable to work and we have quite a few medical bills to pay so money is tight. Does anyone have any ideas or a direction to get me pointed in ? Thanks so much ! Susan
Guest guest
Dear Susan, Sai Ram. That is a greeting, a mantra and a blessing for you. I suggest Reiki, which is free to get. Simply join our sister group, Reiki_Path and request for help. I am sending you an invitation so that it becomes easy for you to join! Also join the Forum at www.hpathy.com and request for help. Again no charge. Only if you want to consult with a professional homeopath separately, you will need to pay. Another suggestion is to pl. consult Dr.Jacob Teitelbaum, author of " From Fatigued to Fantastic " . The book gives valuable suggestions to overcome CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), including herbal treatments. The book's ISBN is 1583330976. I do hope you will improve your energy levels. Sai Ram. Guest guest
Find a doctor who will change your Synthroid to Thyroid Armore. It's has T3 and T4 in it unlike Synthriod which only has T4. I made the switch in July and feel so much better. You may have to go to several doctors before you find one that will make the change, but it will be worth it. Guest guest
I have asked several endo's and all say no, they said that if you don't have any thyroid left it's not a good option. Do you still have a thyroid and just need a boost or have you had it removed ? I know that my body has a problem processing the synthroid because I sometimes have problems with my heart racing. --- mefloridiot1 <mefloridiot wrote: > Find a doctor who will change your Synthroid to > Thyroid Armore. > It's has T3 and T4 in it unlike Synthriod which only > has T4.
