Guest guest
Dear Stewart, Sai Ram. Yes, homeopathy does bring out the suppressed problem and it does become worse. If you can bear it, and if the homeopath is competent, it will improve and will go once for all. However, if you are not able to persist with homeopathy, and if stress is aggravating the problem, try Yoga, Reiki and Music (of the relaxing type), Aromatherapy etc. In Bach Flowers, try to understand why you are getting stressed? Is it suppressed anger? Or is it impatience? Stuck in a job which is not satisfying? The underlying problem needs to be resolved before the external problem disappears. Sending Reiki to you to clarify the real issues, Swamy
Guest guest
Dear Swamy, God bless you. I did not say that the homeopath just told me I was not obeying his instructions and was not sympathetic. This was just before he was prosecuted for molesting his lady-clients, which I would not dream of mentioning, of course. You have given me a different direction of thought so far as the flowers are concerned, and I thank you for that. Guest guest
Dear Stewart, Sai Ram. I am glad that you have been spared of the 'services' of that person! What instructions did you not follow? Were you continuing to apply creams, ointments etc., externally while on homeopathic treatment? Or were you not following specific diet restrictions? Some homeopathic remedies are counteracted by the common food items, especially if the homeopath is using low potencies. Britain was well known for several good homeopaths and I still feel there are decent homeopaths. If you need some help to locate one, pl. let me know. As far as Bach Flowers is concerned, think of each flower like a door in the castle/fort of your inner self. Each can take you inside. For simple acute cases, especially children and childlike people, animals and plants, the straightforward application of Flower Remedies for the indicated emotional condition is useful. For many other adults, there are layers and layers of emotional blocks which need to be peeled before the root cause is found. Anger, self-hatred, guilt feelings, unresolved grief, the list is endless... Look at Holly apart from others. Which book or guide if any are you following for the Flower Remedies? In the meantime, pl. continue to receive Reiki. If you are not a member of Reiki_Path, pl. do join. The URL is as follows: http://health.Reiki_Path/ Ask for Reiki (you need not specify the reason for asking, simply say that you are having health problems) from the group. Group healing is always more powerful and beneficial. Guest guest
Dear Swamy, I was following all instructions! That was what made his comments so galling. Thank you for your comments on the flowers, funny that you should mention Holly. (Or is it?) This was the one I thought of to start with, but by referring to Mechthild Scheffer's Encyclopaedia of Bach Flower Therapy (a Christmas present from my wife!) I changed my mind to Cherry Plum. There is a most interesting section in the book where she compares pairs of very similar remedies, and it was this that changed my mind. Not all Cherry Plum indications came to mind, just one or two. Interestingly, I have in my collection an unused (until now) bottle of Cherry Plum, but no Holly. So that was fortunate, almost as if something were telling me............ I realise now that there is indeed a lot of frustration and suppressed anger in me at the present time, so it is obvious that Crab Apple is not the answer. And I used to wonder why it had no effect - now I know. It is a fascinating learning curve. Thank you also for the Reiki link, Stewart - S.V.Swamy holistic-health 27 October 2005 15:32 Re: Reiki for Stewart Dear Stewart,Sai Ram. Guest guest
Dear Stewart, Sai Ram. I have read Mechtilde Scheffer's book printed in India and don't know whether it is the same that you are referring to, since I can't lay my hands immediately on that book. I checked with 'The Bach Remedies Workbook' by Stefan Ball and find that Cherry Plum is for fear of losing control. Holly is indicated for anger. Though it says anger towards others, I feel that anger towards a part of ourselves is also indicated by Holly. So, use both (there is no problem in using upto 7 or even 9 remedies if not too sure of the right remedy). Rescue Remedy cream can be applied externally if needed. Reiki will definitely help you find the right healer (which could be yourself!). Best wishes.
