A small change - the group is now moderated - pl. cooperate

Dear Friends,

 

You are aware that earlier, moderation was restricted to new members

since I wanted to be sure that we will not be spammed. That has no

doubt helped a lot. But some of the earlier members have, in spite of

my appeals, continued to post long mails on topics which are not of

interest to all. I have requested them earlier too to give a small

excerpt and then direct the interested readers to a webpage to get the

full text. But, alas, it looks as if they are unable or unwilling to

change.

 

So, with deep regret, I have now moderated messages from all members,

since has no provision to moderate an individual member.

The other alternative was to remove the member, which I want to avoid.

 

I assure the members that I am regularly checking the messages and no

message which is relevant and is useful will be disallowed. The time

gap between your posting and the message actually getting posted to

the group will be normally not more than a day, with a few exceptions.

 

I request your cooperation.
