I am sorry, Steve. I can only speak for myself, but I have been terribly

busy these days and thought by now someone would have answered you.

I have only had real life experience in relieving pain and in the passage

of stones. Your question dealt more with how to prevent them.

Here are a few suggestions that worked very quickly for a lady who asked

for my help.

For pain: Drink the juice of a FRESH lemon in 8 ounces of water

every half an hour until the pain subsides. You can alternate between

lemon juice and apple juice. With the apple juice, put in 2 tablespoons

of apple cider vinegar.

Drink LOTS of water. This will sound like a lot, but if these

things run in your family, you should drink 3 qts of water as this dilutes

the urine and helps prevent the concentration of the minerals and salts

that can form stones. (Chronic dehydration is a major factor in kidney

stone disease in 15 to 20 percent of people.) Also, drink unsweetened

cranberry juice (from a health food store, not the frutosed-to-death version

you get in the supermarket). Drinking the lemon juice in a glass

of warm water first thing in the morning can help prevent stones from forming.

Eat alfalfa, cantaloupes, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and squash.

Minimize animal protein. If you have a family history of kidney stones,

take calcium supplements WITH meals. When you consume calcium-rich

foods with oxalates, they bind together and are expelled in the stool,

lessening your risk of kidney stones. Calcium supplements should

be avoided only by those with a personal history of kidney stones (as in

your case). Avoid asparagus, beet greens, beets, blueberries, celery,

eggs, fish, grapes, parsley, rhubarb, sorrel, spinach, Swiss chard, and

vegetables in the cabbage family. Also avoid alcohol, black tea,

chocolate, cocoa, dried figs, nuts, pepper, and poppy seeds. Diet

is important in the prevention of kidney stones.

Stay active! People who are sedentary tend to accumulate high

levels of calcium in the bloodstream.

Well, the lady who asked me was in terrible pain. I told her about

the lemon juice and all the rest of it, too. She asked her doctor

about my suggestions, and he said go for it. She did and within an hour

or so, she was markedly improved. In a few hours, the pain went away.

She was able to pass her stones successfully.

The best remedy is the following:

In the morning start off with 16 oz of water and half a lemon mixed in with it.

Add three to ten drops of Cayenne tincture to the mixture and down the hatch.

During the day, drink 6 to 8 cups of Stone Dissolve Tea (Formula follows).

Should knock out any amount of stones in 3 to 7 days on the average but could take up to 12 weeks if your system is seriously toxic and a thorough body cleansing is in order.

Love,

Doc

Stone Dissolve Formula

Hydrangea root, Gravel root, Marshmallow root

This is used as a decoction (soak the night before and simmer for 15 minutes).

It should also be made into a tincture and used with the tea.

Dear Friends,

Kidney stones are calcium oxalate crystals. Increased intake of water,

avoiding milk and milk products, tomato and a few leafy vegetables

which are rich in oxalic acid also helps. As Subbu rightly mentioned,

homeopathy helps in modifying body chemistry and the stones do pass

out after getting reduced in size.

If the stones are big and pain and discomfort is too much, lithotripsy

(use of ultrasonic waves to crush the stones) and or surgery may be

needed and further growth can be avoided by using homeopathy.

Best wishes.
