Guest guest
Hi Ladies - I'm safiyaa4444, I'm 54 years old, and I take several medications daily. I've been 75-100 lbs. overweight for the past 15 years. I also tend to be sedentary. As a nurse, I'm fully aware of the dangers of obesity, and so I've been on a quest to find a dietary plan that would allow me to lose weight and possibly reduce some of the medications I take. I was also determined to find a program that would be healthy, not gimmicky, and would be the type of diet I could live with for the rest of my life, not a "diet" that would just help me lose some weight quickly. The problem with some of the diets currently out there is that most folks can lose some weight initially, but re-gaining all that lost weight is inevitable, and that's why people become discouraged. A few months ago, I discovered a PERFECT dietary plan that very few people know about, but those who do are reaping the benefits of weight loss and the reduction of some disease symptoms. Diabetics, for example, have been able to lower their blood sugars, and people with hypertension have been able to reduce their blood pressures. The weight loss is actually a very positive SIDE EFFECT of this program, whose goal is to reduce the acid level in the blood, plasma and fluids of the body, or, in other words, make the body more alkaline. Normal body temp. for human beings is 98.6, and normal pH for the human body is 7.365, so by reducing certain acidic foods, like coffee, hot dogs, sodas, red meat, etc. and by consuming more alkaline foods like green veggies, fish, etc. we can begin to make some positive changes in our bodies. I enjoy this eating program not only because it's healthy, but also because it makes sense and because it seems a little odd and quirky, and I love any- thing that's different. If you're interested in learning more about this "alkaline" diet, please contact me directly, or join my new group, www.alkalariansolution . I would also love to give little suggestions to the holistic health group that may help all the members improve their health by making small dietary changes to their daily meals. Guest guest
Dear Safiya, Sai Ram. I do hope your group is open to all, not just ladies. And while a good diet which also takes care of metabolism leads to weight loss, I am yet to come across a PERFECT DIET. Pl. do post more info. about the diet.
