Guest guest
---Hi Swamy, yes I have had weight gain, last time I checked I was going at about 10 stone which is a stone more than I usually am. I have just been given some info on another list about a natural supplement called 5- HTP. I have never heard of this before and after doing a quick bit of research have learned that it is thought to be beneficial for anxiety and weight gain. Does anyone know if this supplement is available in the UK and has anyone experienced any benefits from it? Guest guest
Dear Katrina, It could be Ascites from what you say and in that case, Liver malfunction is also to be looked at and ruled out. Ans since Liver is a Vital organ with a lot of reserve and regenerative capacity, you may not be aware of any serious health problem. So, please consult a physician, internist or hepatologist. Once a major health issue is ruled out, homeopathy can be tried out for you. Best wishes. Swamy P.S: I won't recommend a supplement without understanding the actual problem. holistic-health , " freetobeki " <libby.lady@n...> wrote: > ---Hi Swamy, > > yes I have had weight gain, last time I checked I was going at about > 10 stone which is a stone more than I usually am. > > I have just been given some info on another list about a natural > supplement called 5- HTP. Guest guest
At the moment I am awaiting completion date on a property I am soon to move into. We have been busy packing but can not make certain arrangements until we get a definate date. My theory is that the pressures (mainly sexual/social) I have been under whilst living in social housing have exaberated this condition whatever it is, so I will not be seeking any dx until we are moved and settled in. My guess is that the condition will improve somewhat then but will still need, as you say, definate clarification. Guest guest
Dear Katrina, Yes, the stress could always add to existing problems. Better wait and see. It may improve. Unless there is a medical emergency, no need to worry or panic. Swamyfreetobeki <libby.lady wrote: At the moment I am awaiting completion date on a property I am soon to move into.
