Guest guest
I know fast weight loss is dangerous, but I recently read something which REALLY put it into perspective in a little different way than I had ever considered - and scared me from every wanting to lose fast! THIS IS AMAZING!!! It also touches on why we want to SLOWLY kill the fungi in our bodies - too fast can also be bad there! Linda If people use too much anti-fungals too quickly it can cause fungal die-off too quickly. We call this a Herxheimer reaction. Fungi have toxins inside them and when they die these toxins are released into our systems in mass. Our bodies also store toxins in our own fat cells to protect us from them. That's the main reason fat should be lost more slowly, especially if their is a heart condition. Many people have lost weight too rapidly and destroyed their gall bladders because of this factor. If you're losing 5 pounds a week it's the same as eating 5 pounds of fat a week. Your body is redigesting it and using it for fuel. By starting more slowly and building up to it, your body can handle it better. I would not recommend losing over 2 1/2 pounds a week. BOTTOMS UP!
