Guest guest
It matters what form the minerals are in when you take minerals. For example, I've heard that chromium picolonate is the WORST form of chromium to take. However, it's the one most commonly sold because it's cheaper. Same thing with calcium, the most common form sold is calcium carbonate and that is worst for absorption. If your body cannot absorb something, it precipitates in the body and, unfortunately, with calcium carbonate can cause kidney stones or arthritis symptoms if it precipitates into your joints. I know several women that developed kidney stones after I'd read of the calcium carbonate connection and I'd ask them if they were taking calcium. You guessed it, they were all taking calcium carbonate. Please, folks, don't just run out and buy stuff without researching what form to buy. Make sure it's in a form your body can actually use. - Anna At 11:04 AM 7/5/03 -0400, Linda wrote: >Got this from another forum and simply HAD to pass it on - this information may be directed towards diabetics, but please remember: ALL of us need to know about these nutrients! > >Linda >This info I learned from Don Colbert, M.D., author of the " Bible Cure " >Book Series.
