Guest guest
Dear Alexa, Welcome to our group - we hope you will be an active participant. However, at the ripe old age of 22, I'd like you to understand that you may be speaking a bit hastily calling yourself a former Type II diabetic. First, it's RARE to even BE a Type II at that age - 50 extra pounds or so could NOT do that to you, in my opinion. Second, I'm glad you are happy with Herbalife, and I understand your enthusiasm, but we herbalists, who've been in the business for DECADES, generally won't use their products. We have our reasons, which I won't go into here. I also doubt you know or understand kinesiology, which is one of our primary ways of determining what to take and why. I am very familiar with their products and am an herbal healer FIRST before all else, and won't sell them. But if they worked for you, at least thus far, that's great. Just remember that educating yourself as to the causes and ramifications of all forms of diabetes should be your #1 priority. You can no more permanently "fix it" than you can stop a body from gaining weight when it is overfed. Controlling diabetes, even with normal blood sugars, is a daily process of monitoring your carb intake, and will be so for the rest of your life, whether you believe me now or not. I know what I'm talking about here, and have the advantage of many decades of experience in the natural health field with many companies, not just accepting what ONE company tells me as Gospel. It ain't necessarily so! In any event, we're happy to have you. Linda Yates, co-moderator Like Seasilver?
