Got this from Betty Kamen's helpful hints today...of course, grapes are loaded with carbs, so we need to take them in very moderate amounts, but this is STILL interesting info.

Grapes contain catechins, resveratrol (terrific antioxidants), anti-fungal

killers, plus they are a good source of glycoproteins. Red grapes better than

white and the concentrated effect of production plus fermentation on the skins)

red wine is even better - with cabernet sauvignon tops.
