Guest guest
I look forward to getting more information on how to reverse diabetes and hope that you will address the issue of what some call " adrenal " diabetes. After carefully documenting every bite of food that I ate for months and taking BG readings 6 times a day, including sometimes getting up at 3 am to take the readings, my doctor admitted that most of my high readings had nothing to do with the food that I was eating but, instead, were a reaction to stress. As best I understand it, when I get stressed, my body gets the " fight or flight " signal and my liver immediately dumps a load of sugar into my bloodstream. Plus, I wake up with BG readings higher than when I went to bed because at 3 am or thereabouts, my liver again dumps a load of sugar into my blood. I have gone to the gym for a strenuous workout and come back with readings higher than when I left because, again, my liver is trying to be helpful and dumps a load of sugar into my blood so I'll have the energy to keep on going. I'd love to get off the meds... so, please, do tell us all about this. - Anna
