Many ayurvedic experts claim that when we walk bare foot, back pressure develops due to our own body-weight, simultaneously & alternately in each & every portion of the sole, from heel to toe. This pressure helps to regulate the functioning of endocrine glands and send message to remove hindrances & obstructions. This pressure also helps to raise blood against gravity. (More can be found in Accupressure Therapy Guides).Due to foot-wear, the volume of back pressure diffuses and remains almost un-effective. Remedy : Take Two pieces of 1/2-3/4 inch (in diameter) ordinary PVC pipe, roll with & under sole of foot with bearable pressure, two-three times in a day for 10-15 minutes. This can help control blood sugars in diabetes and many more chronic diseases. In addition to that, other recommended exercises involve, Standing on heel and toe alternatively for few minutes every day. Try to walk on toe and heel to get better results. Prefer to walk bare foot & avoid foot-wear as far as possible. - Suggested by : Dr. Kamal Kumar , Raipur India Sonzy Says : These remedies are learnt from various sources which may or may not be published. All remedies to be carried out at your own risk. Just for informational purposes, I do not make any claims to cure, prevent or treat any disease. (Atlast I have to put in those techy bits ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ b) Raw Garlic can improve your cholesterol levels.. Researchers have long known that large quantities of raw garlic can reduce harmful blood fats. Unfortunately, raw garlic can also reduce your circle of friends. Worse yet, garlic that's been " deodorized " by heat treatment loses its cholesterol- lowering effects. But now there's an odor-modified liquid garlic extract from Japan called Kyolic that seems to lower blood fats. When Benjamin Law, MD of Loma Linda University in California gave people with moderately high blood cholesterol 1 gram a day of the liquid garlic extract (equivalent in about four capsules or 1 teaspoon), their cholesterol levels fell an average of 44 points in six months.
