Guest guest Report post Posted March 26, 2010 Can some one guide me what is the healthy sign regarding stool? Is it supposed to float in the water or sink? I was told that stool floating in the water is a healthy sign. But, it will float only when there is trapped gas in it. How it can be healthy?
Guest guest Report post Posted March 26, 2010 It will float whenever it's lighter than water, and that depends on its composition. It will change as you eat different foods. Guest guest Report post Posted March 26, 2010 Even I read that but floating stool has gas in it. Healthy stool is yellowish in colour, well formed neither too watery nor too dry. My daughter read that the healthy stool forms S . The colour may vary according to what you have eaten. It should not be smelly. Can some one guide me what is the healthy sign regarding stool? Guest guest Report post Posted March 26, 2010 Floating has nothing to do with gas, it is fat content which makes it float. Guest guest Report post Posted March 26, 2010 I wanted to know which is the healthy sign, whether floating or sinking? As a habit, I do look back when I get up from the commode. As you rightly said, it varies in color and sp.gr. depending on the food I have taken previous night. _____________ It will float whenever it's lighter than water, and that depends on its composition. Guest guest Report post Posted March 26, 2010 if it is heavy the energy has not been absorbed by instestine. so it floats if it is lighter than water it means energy has been absorbed by body and it floats . this is the healthy sign less salt in food will help intestine to absorb food as reverse osmosis is better
Guest guest Report post Posted March 27, 2010 U r right to think that stools which can float on the water is the normal sign of stool. It will sunk if it will be added with extra heavy waste products which have weight more than water gravity, so that they will sunk in it. It will float when it will be devoid of Aama. Regards. I was told that stool floating in the water is a healthy sign. But, it will float only when there is trapped gas in it. How it can be healthy?
Guest guest Report post Posted March 27, 2010 Se Am has the yogic view. My teacher always told us that if the stool floats, we are floating and if it sinks, we are sinking. It will float if the nutrients are taken from the stool and has little to do with oil unless one needs oil to correct for the dosha, which will in turn help absorbing the nutrients. One way to to this is to sit in " rock pose " when one eats. It says in the yogic scriptures that one can eat rocks if sitting in rock pose (sitting one one's heels). Guest guest Report post Posted March 28, 2010 I have read nearly ten replies and all are varying and making me more confused. In my case , out of seven days in a week, I see hardly floating stool. Every time it is sunk. I am happy with sinking stool because it requires less water to flush out. Based on the feedback received, the sunk stool is not a healthy sign. It means that my health is not in good shape. I would be obliged if the moderator can conculde this? _ Se Am has the yogic view. Guest guest Report post Posted March 28, 2010 sinking stool means instestine has not absorbed the nutrients if you are healthy and correct weight do not worry about it body is taking necessary energy and only extra energy is disposed off do enema and clean the intestine walls as age advances the food gets coated in the inner walls of the intestine reducing the absorbtion rate and you have to eat more and less is absorbed when you clean by doing enema the intestine works perfectly back again you will feel younger and efficient and you can eat less and get more energy ________________________________ I have read nearly ten replies and all are varying and making me more confused. Guest guest Report post Posted March 28, 2010 The reason a healthy stool floats is because the heaviest part of the nutrients are minerals (metals) like iron, etc. If they stay in the stool, they are heavier than water and thus sink. If they are absorbed from the food, the residue will be lighter than water and thus float. GB ____________________ I have read nearly ten replies and all are varying and making me more confused. Guest guest Report post Posted March 29, 2010 The best way to identify one's stool is that it passes automatically i.e. no extra force or actions are required for passing stool. It should not be watery or dry, non-smelling, pale yellow in colour and floating( the Paripakva Mala i.e. the stool which does not contain any metal portion and the total energy of the taken food is absorbed by the intestine). The main important aspect about the stool is that it should not take much time (about 1 to 1.5 minutes) in passing the stool. Sleep, Appetite, Thirst, weight, Mala(stool) and Mutra (urine) are the things which should be noticed every day and any change noticed should be taken seriously so that the reason of variation in these may be known and accordingly some thing to improve them may be done. ________________________________ Healthy stool is yellowish in colour, well formed neither too watery nor too dry. Guest guest Report post Posted April 3, 2010 Dear, if stool is not floating it means adequate digestion is not taking place, i guess you may feel little lazy, not so quick in action, heaviness in body n abdomen, acc. to me you'd use some deepan n pachana drugs which'll increas your digestive capabilities; like jeerkadyarishtham. ___________________ out of seven days in a week, I see hardly floating stool. Guest guest Report post Posted April 4, 2010 Yes. Anurag is right. You can either reduce or change your diet. Also you can take medicines to improve the digestive power. Again you can do more work or exercise With Best Regards, N.S.
