I am losing my hair by the fistfuls. I have read that it could be anything

from and iodine deficiency (thyroid) or anemia. My dad went bald very young

as did my son. My understanding is that it comes from the mother's side for

men, but what about women? Do you have any suggestions for me? I feel I am

to young for this to happen. I normally had very thick lustrous hair.

Thanks for any suggestions, or help.

I believe rosemary oil has been shown to have a beneficial effect.

We have noticed with a controlled experiment that western style detergent based

shampoos often accelerate hair loss very much. Not the only factor

Has this been happening for a while or did it start suddenly?  When you say

fistfuls - is this an accurate description?  Have you had any illnesses in the

past few months?  Do you have a sense that this is genetic or do you feel this

to be an indication of an underlying condition?  Trust your instincts and

consider seeing  someone you trust to properly investigate the situation.

I would like more info as well. I did switch

shamposs and went back to my old one thinking that may have been the

problem, odd you should mention that as a cause.

It is the ghee made from cow's milk, basically cow's ghee.
