Guest guest
Read " curd " as " yoghurt. " I'm in Japan and we usually make yoghurt at home. Guest guest
I make curd by draining yogurt through cheese cloth. It won't be exactly like what you'll get in India, but it will be close. and fresh. You can also make it by warming milk to about the temperature you'd use for a baby. Then stir in just enough lemon juice to make it curdle, and strain through cheese cloth. The solids are the curd. Guest guest
Dear Susan, that is not curds that is paneer. Curds are set by warming the milk then putting half a teaspoon of curd, plain yoghurt to half a litre of warmed milk. mix it very well by lifting it and droppin it in another vessel keep on putting it from one vessel to another and then leave it in a dry warm corner of your kitchen or in oven; cover it well with awarm cloth. oven is only used to place the vessel not to cook. only so that no cold air affects it. I will see tonight when i make if my son can take a video I will post that. ________________________________ I make curd by draining yogurt through cheese cloth.
