Guest guest
Dear and respected vaidyas and doctors, Polycythemia Vera is a blood disorder in which the bone marrow makes too many red blood cells and frequently result in the overproduction of platelets. It is controlled by oral chemotherapy and usually the patient can live with the disease for 12 or 15 years. I would like to know if this kind of disease is cited at Charaka Samhita with proper treatment, or at least a similar disease. Warm regards, Pirgah
Guest guest
you cannot get similar diseases in Alopathy & Ayurved. becoz the basic principles of both sciences differ vast. In ayurved science, patient " s signs & symtoms r observed 1st. then accordingly he is examined. specific reasons or pre-symptoms r also considerded. then pathology can be decided. as per ayurved, pathology of every patient of same disease can also differ. so treatment should differ accordingly. here Polycythemia Vera can be considered as Majja & Rakta vruddhi. ________________________________ Polycythemia Vera is a blood disorder in which the bone marrow makes too many red blood cells and frequently result in the overproduction of platelets. ..
