Guest guest
Hum, I have several questions today. Sorry, I will try to be brief. 1. Is it safe to raise glutathione and other anti oxidants with a view to detox of accumulated toxins from meds and other dangerous toxins, without first taking care of the liver? 2. Which would be the best meds for enhancing liver function and its non functional enzymes? 3. Are there any mix to raise glutathione and other anti oxidants that would enable the body's own mechanism to detoxify? I bought several books about Ayurvedic medicines and Tibetan medicine. I am amazed of how so far advanced Ayurvedic Medicine is. It uses diet, nutrition, psychology, and works at rebalancing doshas, energy at cellular level. I have also noticed that several compounds are being used now on a lot of vits and supps site. It makes me sad, because, only an Ayurvedic doctor should prescribe according to our own imabalances. I am convinced that Ayurvedic Medicine offers us a new paradigm of healing, even though, it is more than 4000 years old, it is new to many of us. I hope that Ayurvedic Medicine stays unique and does not sell out to Big Pharma. It seems that many alternative doctors are using Ayurvedic medicine without proper training. Somehow, I don't think this is correct. It takes many years to qualify as an Ayurvedic doctor, and the knowledge is very specific. Just some thoughts about this wonderful healing modality, I wish I found out about it earlier!! Thank you Kooky
Guest guest
Kooky . The Ayurveda herbs or medicines should always be taken or given as self body constitution & many things . In the Western Countries , these herbs r provided under the name of supplements which is wrong . The Ayurveda treatments r person specific . The medicine changes from person to person for the same disease . But this fact is really known to very few people . If u will try to say this to people , they won't accept it . Rather they think that , there is something behind the motive or money making therapy . A true Ayurveda treatment should be given by the proper person who have done the basic course . About the questions u raised . It should be noted that , Ayurveda principles r different . We can't direct them in the term of modern medical science . In fact for the Ayurveda way of treatment , the causes , the diet , metabolism should be considered in terms of Ayurveda rather than in the words like glutathione . This would be very easy to understand & to work out on the same . _________________________________ 1. Guest guest
I totally agree with you. Ayurvedic medicine is complex and Ayurvedic meds should be prescribed by a qualified practitioner. I am reading several books on this, and the more I read about it, the more I understand that its application are complex and precise. I am sad that Ayur meds are being sold on vitamins and supplements website in the West. I am sure that those who are self prescribing Ayur meds could cause more of an imbalance, and cause themselves more harm. I know somebody who ordered Amrit Kalash from vit and supps website. His old symptoms from an Adverse Drug Reaction to a toxic fluoroquinolones antibiotics returned with a vengeance, that is severe tendonitis. Is this possible at all? That he took the Ayur med from an internet site without consulting an Ayurvedic doctor, and that this was the cause of the returns of his symptoms?? Who knows, it may have caused even more of an imbalance.... ________ The Ayurveda herbs or medicines should always be taken or given as self body constitution & many things .
