Guest guest
hi! i am practitioner of ayurved since 14 years .it was disturbing to know that few people have proclaimed themselves to be saviours of ayurved & doing awareness campaign . i personally feel that any of these adventures should not be taken up by lay/people passionate about the science.the work of awareness & development should be govnered by a respected & responsible body, because in any case of miscommunication caused to due poor handling of certain issues can harm the faculty more. AYUSH dept or concerned state boards /council should look into the matters of awareness of ayurveda for that matter .
Guest guest
I understand your concern about misinformation from the " lay man " . But it is more valuable to educate people and those is the medical profession rarely have the time or the drive to do the " campaigning " while others are quite effective in this field of global education and awareness. Perhaps we can encourage responsible campaigning and directing of questions to reliable sources! --------------------------- hi! i am practitioner of ayurved since 14 years .it was disturbing to know that few people have proclaimed themselves to be saviours of ayurved & doing awareness campaign . Guest guest
I am a lay man. I had played my tiny role in formation of Ayurvedic college in Goa/India in 1992/94. Six months back I have found that prominent people from Capital City of Goa (Panaji) as also many staff from Health Services do not know that there exists Gomantak Ayurvedic Mahavidhyala and Research Centre at Shiroda Goa. I took initiative and organised few programs which also include Three day Exhibition of Medicinal plants and Seminar on Ayurveda. I have interacted with over 50% of Ayurvedic practitioners from Goa as also many Doctors from other pathies in my " Series on Health " in last six months. I Genuinly feel that in next 5/10 years in Goa, " AYURVED " will only be understood as what is done in SPA and massage kendras. _________________________ But it is more valuable to educate people and those is the medical profession rarely have the time or the drive to do the " campaigning " while others are quite effective in this field of global education and awareness. _____________ i am practitioner of ayurved since 14 years .it was disturbing to know that few people have proclaimed themselves to be saviours of ayurved & doing awareness campaign . Guest guest
looking at the sceniero this is true but well in any progressive stream there will be few who exploit , but it does not hold true that ayurveda will be only serviving in SPA. it has seen mogals & british empire so these spa / massage empire also will go. if these 50% vaidyas practice ayurveda with total faith & integrity and reach the community it will do good to ayurveda. _________________ I have interacted with over 50% of Ayurvedic practitioners from Goa as also many Doctors from other pathies in my " Series on Health " in last six months.
