Guest guest
Yoga Nidra is a guided imagery relaxation, which progressively relaxes our physical, pranic, emotional and mental bodies (koshas). I believe the deep relaxation experienced in yoga nidra allows the body to achieve balance (medically called homeostasis), so that it can start repair and growth processes. Yoga nidra also allows healing at levels which are considered the root of disease. For instance, it allows safe release of emotions surrounding an illness; and also allows the mind to come to a state where positive suggestion (sankalpa) can reprogramme the subconscious mind. Cancer patients of mine who have used yoga nidra, have found deep levels of peace; in which they have been able to process their spiritual healing. It also works really well with sleep disorders, stress, and general fatigue. I have written an article explaining yoga nidra at the link: <http://scienceoflife.co.nz/yoga-nidra-the-\ ancient-science-of-power-naps/> Your comments and suggestions would be well received. Best regards, Gerald.
