Guest guest
Dear Shrikant Your posting is going to press panic button once again. Let me tell you the condition is created by media. Actually there is know such war like situation. I am attending meetings in PMC and with Collector as in capacity as Medical Superintendent of Joshi Hospital [Pune]. The mortality initially was due to following WHO guideline. The doctors are treating patients who were positive confirmed by NIV. Which takes delay in treatment. Now they have developed Pune pattern. grouping patient A, B AND C catagory. Patient A needs ICU support and sample for testing will be send and treated. B catagory will be suspected cases for which immediate treatment by Tamiflu is given with out testing. The C catagory will be treated as routine flu. This pattern is now showing result. Yesterday alone 2-3 cases were on ventilator. This dose not means we are free of virus . At least next 2 weeks we should quarintine our self as possible.
