Guest guest
Hi: I'm new to this group and need advice badly. I was injured by a very toxic antibiotic called levaquin which has affected my central nervous system and tendons/ligaments/muscles. I have severe tendon weakness all over my body particulalry in my achilles and feet. Prior to taking levaquin, I was injured by a tetanus booster shot which i had in 2006. It affected my ability to take medicine, hence my reaction to levaquin, a very toxic antibiotic that everyone should avoid. Prior to taking Levaquin, and after my tetanus booster shot, I started to develo constipation and abdominal pain on the right sifde under the ribs which radiates around to my back. After the levaquin, which I took 4 months ago, the constipation is beyond the pale. Nothing it seems will make my bowels move. Needless to say, I am seriously ill. I am unable to get the levaquin out of my system as my detxofication pathways are seriously blocked. I need help. Please any guidance you can give me would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much. Guest guest
There is a yogic way to check out placement of the navel. Lay flat on your back, take all your fingers of one hand and put them together. Put them about one and a half inches below the navel. Push until you should feel a pulse. Most likely the pulse will be above the fingers, which denote constipation. If the pulse is below the navel, it denotes diarrhea. Pulse to either side is a nervous disorder. In women, if pulse to the left, it is female disorder. You can adjust the navel by doing stretch pose. This is by laying on the back, raising the legs 6 inches above the ground with lower back on ground and do breath of fire for up to 3 minutes. This may be too difficult for many people. Bow pose is very good. Peacock pose is excellent but also may be difficult for some people. Wide legged sitting front stretch may also help. There is an adjustment where someone else helps. Lay on stomach, other person pulls up opposite leg and arm while putting foot in middle of lower back. Do it on both sides with opposite arm and leg. Guest guest
If you do peacock pose, one should always do cobra pose first. Another possibility is crow pose. Stand up straight with feet spread at shoulder width. Squat down as far as possible by bending knees and keeping feet flat on the ground. Stay in this position. It is best to evacuate the bowels in this position. It is also best to urinate for both men and women in this position. This position puts a pressure on the prostate gland in men so protects it and helps prevent problems. Guest guest
I think , you should undergo Basti Karma which is one of the therapies of Panchkarma ie Detoxification treatments . It will help you to start the normal bowel movements . It should be taken for at least 15 days which is called as Karma Basti . You should take it from any certified Ayurveda Vaidya . ________________ I was injured by a very toxic antibiotic called levaquin which has affected my central nervous system and tendons/ligaments/muscles.
