Inguinal hernia advice request

I met a man yesterday who is looking for natural healing with inguinal hernia.He

has sworn off doctors and has been successful at healing but with some conflicts

and now seekds guidence because the hernia is growing.

 

After 1 & 1/2 years of raw food, he lost his pot belly, 30 or so pounds, felt

better but developed seeming digestive issues and the hernia is growing.

 

He is certainly VATA/Pitta type(not by pulse diagnosis, but through my

observation), around 50 years old and gentle in his nature.

 

My friend suggested he take triphala and I am wondering if he needs herbs more

soothing or if triphala is safe enough. What are the diet recomendations/herbs?

 

Unfortunately, there are now practiioners/vadyas here. Anyone want to move to

the beautiful coast of Northern California??

Lara . The person suffering from Inguinal hernia should not rely upon any

alternative major as there has been very little help from this . It should be

noted that , Ayurveda science have emphasised on 4 types of treatment protocols

- Aushadh , Shastra , Kshar & Agni . So if the disease cant be controlled by

medication , the person should opt for Shastrakarma ie surgery . As you stated ,

the hernia is increasing , he should not wait for the medication instead he

should go for surgery as soon as possible . Otherwise his problem can worsen .
