Hello Dr. Bhate and others

A friend of mine from Indonesia is interested in obtaining information from

Cancer Survivors who resorted to ayurvedic treatment during any stage of

their disease along with their experiences.

Compiling this information would benefit many people and enlighten those who

hate Ayurveda from the bottom of their heart.

Anticipating your cooperation...

Regards

AYURVEDA TREATMENT FOR LEUKEMIA AND OTHER CANCERS.

Ayurveda is much superior to modern medicine in curing cancers. There are two

major points that should be taken in to account: faster remission and absence of

side effects. It takes only 2 to 4 weeks time for complete remission, in most of

the newly diagnosed as well as preliminary and secondary stage cancers. To get a

perfect cure, patient needs to continue treatment for 6-12 months more. The

quality of life during the course treatment, unlike modern medicine, is better:

the patient can resume his/her occupation. In blood cancers, there are certain

types such as AML+ALL which are not even responding to high doses of

chemotherapy. For them treatment means disease plus sufferings due to the

afflictions of medication.

I request to the wise men of the world to scientifically probe in to the proven

remedies of Indian Ayurveda, and integrate this system with modern knowledge in

the larger interest of humanity. Please read cancer survivors testimonials in

Please dig through various posts referred in

http://health.ayurveda/message/13321

Many cases have been put on the net by Dr Virendra Jain of Indore.

If one visits Ayurvedic hospital run by Govigyan Sannshodhan Kendra, Nagpur, or

the one at Valsad, one can meet the patients under treatment.

Detailed addresses and treatment records have been maintened by Govigyan

Samshodhan Kendra.

People who work for cows are not keen to publish results in International

Medical journals, since number of patients is small, there is no standardisation

of procedures like double blind randomized trials. These standards are enforced

by FDA when dealing with commercial drugs. Panchagavya medicines cant be

considered as those.

Lastly, panchgavya treatment for cancer cant be standardized like modern science

medicines. The patients need supervision and sometimes extra medicines to

relieve herxheimer reactions, pains which may occur as apoptosis starts etc.

Each case is unique. If one is looking for survivors with herbal and other

natural approaches, you may meet several on " cancercured " list under

groups. They respond to emails. Bruce is the survivor of kidney cancer and has

created a special website for sharing his own experiences, and records

experiences of others too. He too has some posts on ayurveda.

A serious student of herbal medicine for diseases such as cancer should be ready

to sift through a lot of online material, travel, meet survivors and form his

own conclusions. Herbal and other approaches should not be viewed through

microscope of modern science or statistical parameters of scientists and FDA.
