My 4 years boy has eczema (Atopic Dermatitis) since 3 years. We are treating him

using only one external allopathic cream (Mometasone, which is corticosteroids).

This relieves him from itching. No internal medicine has ever been given till

date.

I planned to adopt natural treatment, hence I did one personal consultation

taking my child to an Ayurvedic doctor, he recommended LOHASAVAM,

KHADIRARISHTAM, CHANDANSAVAM, AVIPATTI CHOORANAM, and since I am in a dilemma

whether to start with these internal medicines, so I did one online consultaion

with other online Ayurvedic consultant, he recommended RAJANYADI CHOORANAM,

MOOLAKADYARISHTAM, GOPEECHANDANADI GULIKA, NIMBADI THAILAM.

I am confused which one shall I go with, as i don't know what these medicines

will do and what they are exactly for? Please your advice is highly essential to

start.

Thanks

Siraj

Hi siraj,

i can understand that you are much worried about your son, but the things you

are doing is not the proper way to have an ayurvedic or natural treatment. As

according to ayurveda, the treatment for each disease vary from person to person

depending on his prakruti, previous history and many things. so i will suggest

you to consult a proper ayurvedic physician rather searching treatment online.

This will help your child as there are perfect remedies in ayurveda for eczema.

so consult a physician and follow what he suggest.
