Guest guest
You have not mentioned your age and/or if you have any other related health problem. Your occupation is also an important factor. However I am suggesting a home remedy which is suitable in all cases only if there is no other underlying disease condition. Take one cup of hot boiling milk. Add 1 tsp. of ghee (cow ghee prefarable) and stir it well. The mixture should be homogenous. Drink it as warm as possible for you before going to bed at night. The mixture should be homogenous while drinking. If you keep it for some time, the milk and ghee separate. It will not be as effective then. Also simply mixing milk and ghee also will not work. If this remedy works you can safely continue it daily without any fear of any side-effects. If this remedy also does not work, you better consult an ayurveda doctor in person. Vd. S.M.Shirodkar M.D. (Ayu.) Royal Ayurveda http://www.geocities.com/clinic_royal_ayurveda/ ____ But the constipation is still a daily problem. Tried allot of churans ( & home remedies) but they only provide temporary relief, the only thing that helps in making some daily routine is doing pranayam (taught by Baba Ramdev) but still the problem stays & haunts every morning. Guest guest
Friends & doctors, thanks for your comments. As some us were looking for some more details on myself, please find some more inforamtion below: I am in my early 30's & I am slim & tall. One of the Culprit for my health is my job, I am a Software Engineer. I have a strong feeling that the food I consume stays in my stomach for quite some time before it is digested. I may have Aggravated Vata since my skin is very dry but I'll let this to be determined by a professional doctor. I always had some dark cirles around my eyes. I have beed fasting for once a week for quite some years now & since at time I feel weekness & some heat(Hindi: jalan) in my stomach so I have been thinking to quit fasting. Although I am kind of religeous person but can follow what ever doctors can advice. I never had any issue of nausea, vomiting. In case I feel really uncomfortable/bad in upper part of stomach sometimes I do Kunjal Kriya(a yoga process) & it really helps allot. When every constipated I get heavyness or pain mostly in upper left section of Somach. Some times a muscle or something running vertically between navel & ribs gets hard where a strong pulse can be felt as well. At times when the gas is generated & gets stuck I get seviour headace & sometimes even feel blocking/heavyness in ears due to this gas. As Vd. S.M.Shirodkar, I have been consuming milk fried in Ghee(cow) quite often & sometimes it really works but not always. I obseved Vd. suggested only sterring ghee in milk instead of frying. I'll try that & see how it goes. Good to know that drinking water while standing harmful as I normally drink allot of water in morning while standing for bowl cleaning. One more item a little off of above details, lately I have started feeling allot of jalan(hindi) in upper part of stomach (which is a little towads left of ribs joiint). This feeling is quit often. I remember this started couple of months ago when I consumed allot of groundnuts on empty stomach. Thanks Manu ------- > You have not mentioned your age and/or if you have any other related health problem. Your occupation is also an important factor. Guest guest
You can add sugar while boiling the milk. No honey, as honey is never to be boiled or consumed with other hot substances. Vd.
