Guest guest
Dear Ayurvedics: Just to inform everyone, my teenager son had developed a corn on one of his knuckles on his hands during past winter and this was healed by putting mango juice this summer. Last year in the summer I found this remedy quite inadvertently, when at a picnic I had peeled and cut many mangoes and several watermelons for around two hours. Few days later the wound was completely gone, no trace what so ever was left. I thought about what I had done different and realized it had to be the above activity. So this summer when I tried it on my son's corns, it worked again. Now, I am convinced that it works. I had a deep wound for more than a year on the right side of my right thumb which developed due to repeated anxious scratching with my right forfinger's nail while at the movies etc. This would bleed at further scratching and was quite rough and unsitely, so much so that I had to put a band-aid everytime I went out. Nothing would help the situation as I tried varous alopathic ointments, freezing, corn removers and so on spending a lot of money. It is amusing to know that I don't feel the urge to scratch the place anymore. Our foods have amazing properties!
Guest guest
Can you elaborate this mango juice? Is it raw mango or ripened mango? Is it the drinking juice available in the market or we have to make the juice? This is really very interesting and shall be thankful to have more details. My daughter did have corn problem on her foot for which she took homeopathic Argentinum Nitricum. ________________ Just to inform everyone, my teenager son had developed a corn on one of his knuckles on his hands during past winter and this was healed by putting mango juice this summer. " This cutting of ripe mangoes and watermelons was for the purpose of picnic (for a gathering of about 40-50 individuals) when my hands stayed in the fruite juices and pulp as would be natural while cutting the fruites. This year I put a few times: 1. mango juice from the left over mango pit(guthali); 2. wrapping a mango peel (chhilka)around his knuckle; 3. serving watermelons (kharbuja)on the watermelon shell itself(the outer green cover) so he has to bite it instead of serving cut pieces of watermelons in a bowl. All this so his fingers can stay dipped in the fruit juices for a few minutes. Hope this was helpful. - Sucheta
