Our 18 month daughter accidentally poked her eye with a piece of cardboard.

She has developed a small red dot on the white portion of the eye. Infact its

just outside of the eye ball. Her pediatrician examined her and put her on

antibiotic eye drops to prevent any sort of infection in the affected area. She

seems to be doing fine and eating and sleeping normally. The pediatrician

assured us that she is going to be fine ,there is absolutely no need to worry

and it should heal by itself in 2-3 weeks. But me and my wife are really

concerned about the vision of our daughter. We heard some horror stories about a

family member who is now 22 having had a very similar problem during childhood.

It seems she started losing her vision gradually and is almost blind! The area

we live in USA does not have experienced Ayurvedic practioners. Are there any

precautions we can take Ayurvedically or otherwise ? Please help...

Thanks,

Pradeep

very simple but very effective solution i can suggest you which i have

experienced so many times--take 10ml boiled water in a clean bottel add 2gm

suger[KHADISAKHAR in marathi] after it dissolves and become cold put 4 drops

into affected eye 3 times a day use this solution only for 24hrs make new

solution for next day..dr m.s.firodiya
