Last month in one of TV program I learnt of a treatment of Sugar (Diabetes). Take two pieces of Lady Finger (Bhindi) and remove/cut both ends of each piece. Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces in glass of water.. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature during night. Early morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of lady finger (bhindi) from the glass and drink that water. Keep doing it on daily basis. Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your SUGAR. My friend has got rid of her diabetes. She was on Insulin for a few years, but after taking the lady fingers every morning for a few months, she has stopped Insulin but continues to take the lady fingers every day. But she chops the lady fingers into fine pieces in the night, adds the water and drinks it all up the next morning. Please. try it as it will not do you any harm even if it does not do much good to you, but U have to keep taking it for a few months before U see results, as most cases might be chronic ======================================= Message forwarded to ayurveda by S.M.ACHARYA http://health.BackacheFreeWorld , Nature Cure & Spinal Rehab Centre, 155 St. Patrick's Town, Pune 411013, Ph: +91-20-26870204, Cell: 91-9422314693, Email:smacharya Website: www.atbsnr.com ____________________________ Moderator adds: This method of using Okra also helps in Menorrhagia/Endometriosis and sexual debility(Post#10990). Guest guest
This mail is under circulation for the last six months. I have also been recommending this to my diabetic friends. Has any one tried this? Is it really working? Shall be grateful to receive feedback from the people who have tried this. Does this work on both the types of diabetes? Can Dr.Bhate comment on this? Okhra is supposed to cause cold. In such cae, people with joint pain can take okhra? _________________ Please note that another name for Lady Finger (Bhindi ) is " OKRA " . Guest guest
Subbie187 There are so many herbs being used to treat Diabetes Type II. Many of them have been mentioned in archives, which include, Tulsi, Neem, Bail, Blueberry leaves, Mango leaves, Onion, Garlic, Bitter melon, Gurmar, Pitasara, Fenugreek, Bilberry, Cinnamon, Barberry, Vinca. Large number of herbs, which do not find mention in Samhitas (Post#12084) are covered by Pankaj Oudhia at: http://ecoport.org/ep?SearchType=earticle\ View & earticleId=3077 & page=-2 Okra does help, that is why it reduces the flow in menorragia. Brighter the color, more effective it becomes. Choose the one that contains more seeds of smaller diameter. Tender ones are to be preferred for menstrual problems. In fact, diabetes hits the fertility. What reduces insulin resistance, also helps fertility. Okra reduces insulin resistance. When it comes to using green herbs, dosage becomes important. A recent experience is very amazing. a lady patient taking ayurvedic and panchgavya formulations was unable to control the blood sugar. As she was in Bangalore, check up was possible only after 4 months. It revealed she had heavy candida infection as a result of high blood sugar. Candida is well known to throw blood sugar control out-of-whack. When she was provided anti-candida medication, within 3 weeks blood sugar came close to normal values. Tulsi, neem, bail, etc etc nothing was helping, as she was taking those only once a day. Dr Bhate __________ This mail is under circulation for the last six months.
