idlis and dosas

I think idlis and dosas can be improved to even a higher step of health by using

whole urid rather than the white, husked bean and brown rice rather than

polished white.

Yeast is less prefered to yogurt as a rising agent.

 

Whole grains and sprouted grains are the way to go - we want to avoid refined

grains that are white in color.

I was wondering , what about idlis or dosas they are suposed to be

healthy as well. The afghans use naans as staple rotis. what about

that. that is made of maida as well apart from being fermented.
