Cure for Dandruff and Tinutis in Ayurveda

Dear Members,

 

I would request your advice on the following:

 

(i) My wife is suffering from persistent Dandruff since the last one year.Anti

Dandruff shampoos have not been of much help.

 

Please let me know if there is a solution for this is in Ayurveda ??

 

(ii)She also has a problem of tinnitus which is acute when she is

sleeping.Kindly let me know the medicine for this ??

It would be good to know some basics about her diet, menstraul cycle, structure

etc.

Simply put, without knowing anyting about her, she can try to apply some sesame

oil in the ear.  Massage of the head and neck can be helpful.

For dandruff, I find that neem oil mixed with coconut is useful.

Where do you live?

Give some more details of your wife for a clearer impression.

wash scalp with thriphala kashaya it will reduse the dandruff

tell her to wash her scalp daily with triphala kashaya.......

tell her to apply daily same oil on her scalp then massage well; it will surely

reduce the dandruff .u can use thriphalaadi oil or dhurdhoora pathraadi oil for

application

Dear Sir,

As far as dandruff is concern ,we should think in an integrated view.Though i

am running purely ayurveda panchakarma clinic since last 25 years ,i found

better results with this.

What u shd do-

1.At sleeping time scrub a scalpe with comb and remove scales

thoughrouhly.Then apply NEEM oil (seeds) gentely with finger tips.Cover with

scarf as it has very stingent and bad odour.

2.Next morning while taking bath apply SCALPE or KTC shampoo .

3.Wait for 5 minutes and then wash smoothly.

4.Repeat same twice a week for 4 consecutive weeks.

5.Medicines--Neemb patra ghan 2 tbs mor and eve

Mahamanjishthadi kadha 15ml mor eve

TO BE TAKEN ATLEAST FOR 2 WEEKS

 

TINITUS;

1.Instill 6 drops of MAHANARAYAN tel in both the ears.

2.Take 2 spoons GHEE in a cup of milk early mor and at bed time.

(if not obese )

3.cap PALSINURAN of bphyto pharma 2 in mor and 2 in eve.

TO BE TAKEN FOR 20 DAYS AND THEN CONSULT ME AGAIN.

Where some remedies for relief are suggested. It is felt that dandruff and

tinnitus started simultaneously.

 

Dandruff, psoriasis, arthritis, eczema, asthma etc all have common root cause

according to many herbalists and naturopaths. It is auto-immune condition.

Whether it is true in this case, you can easily find out by asking her to take a

simple home test given at:

If the test comes out positive, local application of herbal shampoos, oils will

give only temporary relief, the root cause will remain untouched. Diet will need

large scale change. Secondly, the thinking mode that these two (dandruff,

tinnitus) are two different disease conditions is also incorrect. The

exacerbation of tinnitus during night also suggests that it has a relationship

with dandruff. Moreover, both exacerbate with stress, denoting common vatic

nature.

 

By locating the root cause, medicine(s) which will attack both symptoms

(belonging to common root cause) can be dealt with. It is suggested to take

personal consultation with nearest vaidya.
