Guest guest
Hi Katy, Yoghurt that is very fresh and only fermented for 12 hours vs 24 + has tendency toward sweet vs sour rasa and is also cooling so can be good for pitta. It is best taken in middle of the day and not when it is cloudy or cold. thanks, lawren
Guest guest
Also rE Erin's baby's Pitta-Kapha eczema - and especially when cultured dairy (even milk, but warm milk tends to handle better at night or cloudy days than the rest of them) is not properly digested (sweet or sour/ fresh or after 12 hours) they can increase kapha. Such an art and dance, Ayurveda is! " Knowledge of how to surf the ever changing waves of life successfully " is one of my two favorite definitions - this one by Dr. Sarasvati Buhrman. " Mother of Healing " - Dr. Vasant Lad.
