If you are in relativity to an Ayurvedic doctor, you may find a great deal of support for your son. Balancing the doshas through simple lifestyle changes - especially a whole food doshic correct diet. My initial response would be to not put him on any medications for ADD. As I am sure you are aware of the long term effects of pharmaceuticals on the developing immune system. He can do way better at what cost to his physical and mental health? It amazes me how readily school teachers and therapists encourage the use of drugs they know so little about. Enjoy your son for where he is and not where others expect him to be and find others that support and love him for that uniqueness. We live in US and he goes to public school so had to have him immunized although we waited until it was almost time for school. He has other issues too.
