Dear Sirs,

I have a client who is 36 year old lady who is 6 weeks pregnant. Vata – Pitta

prakriti.

She is suffering badly from acidic taste in the mouth which is a barrier to her

tasting food and resulting in much reduced apetite. Also she gets severe

distension of stomach i.e. Gas after eating foods. Her pains were worse a few

weeks ago, but then I advised her to stop garlic, onions, most warm spices like

jeera, hing,chilli, mustard seeds, and she is mainly mainly eat sattvic foods,

but pulses/dhalls give her severe Gas. Her pains have now reduced, but the ama

coating on the tongue is a major problem as she has to vomit so that she can

eat a small meal.

Please advise.

I think , she should be managed with proper hydration . A combination of Amalaki

powder with Praval Panchamrit Ras will be very much helpful . It will be wise to

send her to some senior physician if this does not help as there might be some

underlying another problem .
